The Fluorosome Technique
We offer novel in vitro drug discovery methods to measure:
- Drug:membrane permeability with Fluorosome®-trans
- Drug efflux by or drug inhibition of active transport "pumps", i.e. p-glycoprotein (pgp) - Fluorosome®-trans-pgp
These techniques:
- Require a small amount of compound
- Provide compound independent, real time measurements
- Are amenable to screening large compound libraries
- Use a true, not artificial, membrane
