Job Title: Organic Chemist
Job Summary: Conduct synthesis, purification and structure determination of organic compounds.
Duties & Responsibilities: Carry out multi-step syntheses of organic compounds; purify and characterize products; solve synthesis problems; design synthetic methods as needed.
Education & Experience: Ph.D. or equivalent training in organic chemistry, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience. Ability to lift 30 lb.

Job Title: Bioanalytical Chemist
Job Summary: Under the direction of a senior scientist, assist in performing pharmacologic and pharmacokinetic evaluation of new compounds.
Duties & Responsibilities: Support R&D and contract research projects. Prepare formulations and solutions. Develop and apply analytical methods. Assist in administration of potential therapeutics to rodents. Analyze blood and tissue samples using HPLC.
Education & Experience: Minimum BA/BS in physical or life science with experience in analytical methods, especially HPLC. Animal handling and sample processing experience preferred. Writing and computer skills required.

Job Title: Pharmacology Technician
Job Summary: Under the direction of a senior scientist, perform research/lab tasks including analyzing the effect of novel compounds on whole animals and tissue preparations; assay development; animal dissection; data analysis.
Duties & Responsibilities: Support R&D and contract research projects. Prepare solutions to be used in physiological experiments. Participate in the development of new pharmacodynamic assays. Conduct complex experiments involving small animals, isolation of tissues, and in vivo and in vitro assays. Maintain physiological recording instruments.
Education & Experience: Minimum BA/BS in life science with experience in animal handling and dissection. Experience in using tissue bath research systems a plus. Must have the ability to handle multiple tasks. Writing and computer skills required.

Job Title: Laboratory Assistant
Job Summary: Under the direction of a senior scientist, assist in maintaining laboratory chemicals, supplies and equipment.
Duties & Responsibilities: Receiving and distribution of supplies; maintaining chemical inventory; filing MSDS sheets; washing glassware as needed; assisting in hazardous waste handling; maintaining vacuum pumps, small lab equipment.
Education & Experience: High school graduate, with one or more years of college a plus. Familiarity with laboratory environment and equipment. Ability to lift 30 lb.
